Main responsibilities
- Understand the processes and identify gaps and inconsistencies.
- Contribute with the operational support.
- Investigate, analyze and resolve problems or incidents related to the production systems.
- Actively participate in design meetings with both IT developers and user groups.
- Participate in the continuous improvement and quality control processes with the team.
- Analyze business processes and write documentation to optimize operations.
- Identify opportunities to improve or adjust the processes under his responsibility.
- Draft and maintain procedures and technical specifications.
- Review functional specifications with the assigned IT team and support the development as required.
- Translate business, operational and functional requirements to the development teams.
- Document, execute and validate test scenarios during development or modification .
- Plan and coordinate implementations.
- All other related tasks.
Requirements
- Excellent knowledge of the French and English language (spoken and written).
- Knowledge of Cobol programming language, Script(linux).
- Knowledge of SAP (SD).
- Knowledge of BI.
- Experience in the retail or wholesale industry is an important asset.
- Knowledge of warehouse processes.
- Knowledge of Material Handling Equipment (MHE) systems is an asset.
